Hello, I’m Michele — an Independent TICO certified Travel Advisor with over 11 years of experience in the travel industry.

I work with Romantic Planet Vacations – Boutique Travel Services, creating thoughtfully planned itineraries for special vacations, destination weddings, honeymoons, and milestone events.



I work closely with each client to design personalized travel experiences, handling every detail so the journey is seamless, stress-free, and truly memorable.

  • Do you specialize in destination weddings only?

    While my specialty is Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, I also plan all types of travel, including family vacations, luxury getaways, cruises, and group travel.

  • What destinations do you work with?

    I plan travel worldwide, including popular destinations such as the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Europe, and the South Pacific. I’ll help you choose the destination that best fits your vision, budget, and guest needs.

  • How far in advance should we start planning a destination wedding?

    Ideally, destination weddings should be planned 12–18 months in advance. This allows the best availability for resorts, preferred wedding dates, and guest accommodations.

  • Do you help with travel arrangements for our wedding guests?

    Yes. I manage guest travel arrangements, group bookings, and special requests to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for you and all your guests.

  • Is there a cost to use your travel planning services?

    In most cases, my services are included when you book travel through me. Any applicable service fees will always be discussed upfront so there are no surprises.

  • Can you work within our budget?

    Absolutely. I help you create a realistic travel plan based on your budget and priorities, offering guidance on options that provide the best value without compromising your vision.

  • Do you book honeymoons if we aren’t doing a destination wedding?

    Yes! I plan honeymoons and romantic getaways for couples who marry at home or simply want a memorable post-wedding escape.

  • What happens if there are travel issues or changes?

    If unexpected issues arise—such as flight changes or resort updates—I assist with rebooking and solutions to minimize disruptions and keep your trip on track.

  • Can you accommodate special requests or dietary needs?

    Yes. I coordinate special requests such as room preferences, dietary restrictions, celebrations, and surprises directly with resorts and suppliers whenever possible.

  • How do we get started?

    Simply reach out through the contact form or email to schedule a consultation. From there, we’ll discuss your ideas, preferences, and next steps.

  • WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL?

    In the travel industry we divide the year into 3 "Travel Seasons"

    1. Peak Season which runs from mid June through August.
    2. Shoulder Season is noted from April through mid-June then again from September through October.
    3. Off-Season runs from November through March
  • WHAT CAN TRAVEL AGENTS DO THAT APPS AND WEBSITES CAN'T?

    In many cases, you save more than you spend on service fees for our expertise. I always try to work within your budget and offer you the best value.

  • CAN I SAVE MONEY BY FLYING OUT AT DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE WEEK?

    Having flexible travel dates ×s generally gives you more options on sourcing the best rates. You will generally save the most when you depart mid week.
